Brazil is a city in Clay County, Indiana, United States. The population was 8,188 at the 2000 census. The city is the county seat of Clay County. The current chief executive of Brazil is Interim Mayor Ann Bradshaw (Democrat) who is serving as interim Mayor after Mayor Tom Arthur resigned before the end of his term.
