Augusta is a city in St. Charles County, Missouri, United States. The population was 218 at the 2000 census. Augusta is home to a notable local brewpub, the Augusta Brewing Co., Mount Pleasant Winery, and a popular stop along the Katy Trail, a 225 mile long bike path. It is the location of the Augusta American Viticultural Area
